If you're interested in learning what we do in Cub Scouts, check out this video!
Parents across the country can attest to the Scouting program, and the video here shows why.
Please reach us at Pack36Maineville@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question, or if you have any others, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
To join us, simply fill out the membership form on our website above by clicking the Join Us link. Be aware that there are annual dues (to the district and pack) but do not let this hinder you. If you have any concerns about these, we will work to ensure you that your child can participate.
All boys and girls from Kindergarten to 5th grade!
Anytime! As it's no problem! We welcome new scouts at any time of the year! While we typically schedule to start things around the beginning of the school year, we do events year round and welcome anyone when they can join us.
It's no problem! Again, we welcome new scouts in grades K-5 at any time! You'll have the same rights and privledges as anyone who joined before or after you!
Yes! We love to have the whole family involved at our events! Family members and siblings are more than welcome to participate in the fun
The way Cub Scouting is organized is that each grade year is separated into Dens. There are mutliple Dens in every pack, and sometimes for each grade level. Each Den typically has between 5-10 members and meets regularly to do adventures to advance in rank.
The ranks and dens are as follows:
Lions - Kindergarten
Tigers - 1st Grade
Wolves - 2nd Grade
Bears - 3rd Grade
Webelos - 4th Grade
Arrow of Lights (AoLs)- 5th Grade
The Pack is the entirely of everyone involved (all Dens). The pack typically hosts larger events where everyone is invited whereas Dens will meet mroe often individually.
We organize a variety of events throughout the year, including campouts, lock-ins, Pinewood Derby and various other large pack social gatherings. Our events are designed to provide opportunities to experience the outdoors, learn new skills, engage with the community and make friendships while learning the scout values.
Our pack and dens are focused on adventuring together with our families. We allow siblings at nearly every event and encourage the whole family to join in the fun.
